Are you studying Psychology? Then you can become an Alcmaeon member! It only costs €16,50 a year and it will be worth its while! You will, for instance, receive discounts on your study books, you can attend activities for free or with a discount and you are always welcome in the Alcmaeon living room (Langeveld E1.46) for free coffee, tea and cookies. You can also join one of our many committees and organise activities yourself. Moreover, we have an extra service for our members: the Alcmaatje. You can find the Alcmaatje in the Alcmaeon app (available for download in the Google Play Store and the Apple Store): you will receive discounts at places like Club Poema, Poolcafé Hart van Utrecht, Domino’s, and many more.

If you think it would be fun to be an Alcmaeon member, you can sign up here! The board’s secretary will check your personal information and you will receive an email to confirm your registration. As soon as all the new members are registered, you will receive the very first member email of the year with all the necessary information about Alcmaeon and the upcoming activities. Should signing up via the website be a problem, you are asked to fill out a registration form at the Alcmaeon room (Langeveldgebouw E1.46) or you can send an email with your personal information to This email address is being protected from spambots. After you have signed up, you are able to log into our membership codex, where you can keep your own information up to date and search for other members. If you are in a committee, you are also able to share documents and send messages via the membership codex.

Cancel membership

Would you like to cancel your membership, because you, for instance, quit studying at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences or because you graduated? Make sure to do so before the first of October of the new academic year! If you fail to do so, you will still have to pay the contribution for that academic year.
